Denny’s patrons got a surprise when they trotted up to the cash register this weekend to pay their tabs.
As they were about to turn on their heel and head out the door, beaming employees slipped a pristine white envelope in their hands.
“What’s this,” I quizzed.
“You’ll see, when you open it up,” a waitress shot back as a wide smile broke across her pretty face.
As I sauntered down the street, I was inclined to take a sneak peak.
Golly!
In addition to a festive Christmas Card wishing me a Happy Holiday Season, the staff had inserted Denny bucks (a $2.00 coupon) to put towards my next meal at the popular eatery!
I expect that now I have spilled the beans, folks will be trotting over to Denny’s to snatch up the nifty souvenir.
