Thom Bierdz...fans of Young & Restless are quite familiar with the handsome actor who once played a character integral to one part of the storyline on the popular daytime soap. Years ago, Beirdz exited the daytime drama to pursue other interests – his art, for instance – and has not looked back since. Until now, that is! The other day, a Facebook “friend” contacted me with a request to sign a petition which is circulating on the Internet to urge casting (and the producers, of course) to hire Bierdz back into a high-profile role once again. I met Bierdz years ago when I played a waiter in one cliff-hanging scene. A down-to-earth guy! I understand that the talented actor is enthused about the possibilities. Stay posted for updates, eh?
Hillary Clinton…gay? When the Clinton family was firmly ensconced in the White House years ago, rumors abounded that Hillary was attracted to women and that her marriage to slick Willy was a one of convenience. Uh-huh. Allegedly, the former Prez was Hillary’s beard! But, after that titillating (!) bit of gossip simmered down, folks pretty much put the thought out of their minds. Until recently, that is. Just a couple of weeks ago, a quick-on-his-feet photographer caught a publicity still of Mrs. Clinton ogling Christina Aguilera’s ample breasts at a society function! In this instant case, a picture seemed to speak a million words. Is the former 1st Lady into lipstick Lesbos? Or, just maybe, Hillary is actually bi? Inquiring minds want to know.
Sophia Loren…by the way, the Italian supestar was captured on celluloid years ago in a similarly-styled photo (described above). Industry-insiders and fans may recall that Ms. Loren was spied staring at Jayne Mansfield’s "treasure chest" at a high-profile dinner. Was Sophia just envious or actually smitten with the sexy siren’s bombastic bod?
