Say - or think - what you will about personalities such as Liberace, Scott Thorson (even Michael Jackson).
But, the fact remains.
The general public - quite a few who frequent popular social hubs especially - are still intrigued by the larger-than-life memories of Liberace and Michael Jackson (and who they've allegedly slipped in-between-the-sheets with).
A case in point?
This past week when I penned a post on Scott Thorson (Liberace's ex-lover) - in which I reported that he claimed to have had an intimate relationship with pop star Michael Jackson - the explosive tidbit rustled up more hits than any other "hard news or gossip" item posted this week on "The Tattler"!
In the final analysis, it's easy to fathom why TMZ, the National Enquirer - even Page Six of a highly-ranked daily newspaper back east - continue to plow on full-steam ahead.
Titillating gossip is part of the mainstream "diet" in America today.
