Britney Spears…here's one DIVA that may be singing the blues if the rumors are up to snuff. Allegedly, Simon Cowell – the driving task-master of music-hall fame – does not feel that Brit is pulling her weight on X-Factor (a talent show that's been slipping in the ratings in recent days). Maybe, the former American Idol host would prefer the Pop Princess go for the jugular – if only to rev up the ratings – instead of trying to rustle up votes for Ms. Congeniality? This type of scuttlebutt usually proliferates on “slow news” days. So, Spears’ fans, don’t take the gossip to heart, eh?
One Direction…heh, that is a very cool – low-key – kiosk in CVS promoting keepsakes for the popular Boy Band (MySpace friends). The tasteful display features engaging posters, fun calendars, and albums for die-hard fans to snap up at reasonable cost. Well, the outlay of cash, sure won't bankrupt a kiddie’s allowance, that’s for sure.
Philadelphia Flyers…say, was that really members of the team acting in cameo roles in the comedy feature “This is 40?” just released this past week at a theatre near you? That one cutie (blond and sporting a sexy moustache) who invites Ms. Mann’s character back to the Hotel to “hang out” sure is photogenic. If I were an agent – or producer – I’d sign him up pronto! Kate Winslet…hopefully, third time is lucky for the Titanic star! Word out of her camp is that she just tied the knot again, after all. The object of her affection? Ned Rocknroll (a New Yorker). And, I’ve never even been married once at the age of – well – more later!!!
