The Guitar: An American Love Story! Dazzling exhibit at Tennessee State Museum!
Tattler readers are familiar with my own musings on the guitar, my playing, and the adventures I’ve had pursuing the musical wonders of the instrument.
Now, guitar enthusiasts passing through Tennessee (residents, too) have a golden opportunity to take a gander – up-close-and-personal – at a collection of stunning pieces once owned and strummed on by legends such as Elvis Presley, Eric Clapton (a 1958 Gibson Explorer) and Cowboy Star Roy Rogers (OM-45 Deluxe).
The Exhibition is aptly titled:
The Guitar: An American Love Story
In excess of 1560 guitars – in all – will be on display at the Tennessee State Museum November 8th thru December 30th.
Check it out, eh?
