Warren Beatty…the former screen matinee idol (once hot-to-trot but now faithful to hubby actress Annette Bening) recently put his Beverly Hills digs on the block and came out a winner! The Mediterranean-style mansion sold for 6.7 million and features the following amenities: a media room (natch), a library (for film research, I presume), a gym (does Warren really work out those abs and pecs these days?), an office (to keep the IRS at bay), maid’ quarters (no hanky-panky here, Arnold), six family bedrooms (he has a lot of show-biz friends who flop down now-and-then, just betcha), and eight baths (cleanliness is next to Godliness, after all). The Backstreet Boys…Michael Bolton (and a handful of other talented performers) are featured musical guests on upcoming broadcasts of a “Tree Lighting” ceremony which was filmed at The Grove earlier this month in the Fairfax District. The high-profile yuletide event was billed as the “Biggest Spectacular of the Year”! I expect couch potatoes will be lounging around in their cozy armchairs by the homefires when the show airs on KCAL on November 22nd at 8:00 p.m. or on KCBS on November 25th at 11:00 a.m.
