Eclectic stage performer – Rufus Wainwright – is slated to take the stage and dazzle fans with his latest musical adventures at the prestigious Grammy Museum on Friday, October 12th.
The big focus will be on a new album – “Out of the Game” – which was produced by the whiz-kid Mark Ronson (of Any Winehouse fame).
According to Wainwright’s handlers, there will be a lot of electric guitar and a dollop of doo-wop flourishes, which is a far cry from the crooner’s tendency to go folksy or Operatic (for the purists, no doubt).
There will be a chat with the night's host - musical director Bob Santelli – which will segue into a Q & A with audience members in what is expected to be a packed house.
For fans, it will be a rare – and delicious – event!
