WeHo Mayor & Council Members attend function!
For years, a handful of “politicians” have managed to maneuver their way in-and-out of the Mayor’s chair in the City of West Hollywood.
Some residents have complained that these “power-mad” individuals (fingers have been pointed at John Duran, Abbe Land, Jeffrey Prang, and John Heilman) have maintained an incestuous stranglehold on the City Government, its laws, and policy-making procedures.
“We need new blood,” some have lamented!
That may be inevitable if a few diligent canvassers have their way.
For example, this morning I spied a resident gathering signatures for a petition to introduce a measure focusing on term limits for Mayoral candidates and City Council Members.
Sounds like a good idea to me!
