Word out of the Ellen DeGeneres camp is that the funny lady is all geared up to launch a spanking-new TV Sitcom.
According to my sources, the perky talk-show host is slated to take on the project with a little help from her friends at Warner Brothers.
Insiders whisper that the hilarious storyline follows a pretty 32-year-old female as she closes up her once-comfy home and embarks on a new direction in life.
After some reflection, Ellen's character apparently gets the jitters and becomes convinced that she may have made a mistake - and thus - be alone forever.
So, she zestfully turns to friends, family - even a therapist! - to nurture her lonesome self along.
No word on co-stars, yet, for this curious project to be crafted for TV by her own production company.
Lauren Pomerantz (who produces "ELLEN") is allegedly signed to pen the DeGeneres comedy.
Is Ellen tiring of the talk-show circuit?
News at 11!

Will real-life wife make a cameo appearance?
