Adele’s “21” album has bounced back into the Top 10 (of Billboard’s 200 ranked) after a one week dip – and in doing so – has scooped up the coveted distinction of being the Top 10 album in the past 50 years (edging out Michael Jackson’s legendary “Thriller”).
9.76 million copies have flown off the shelves in the U.S. alone to date.
According to the Recording Industry Association, sale are expected to surpass those numbers and hit the 10 million mark in the near future
Some say the album is overrated.
Can so many people at the check-out counter be wrong?
Congrats, Adele!
